THE INCULCATION OF PERIOD EDUCATION FOR THE CURRENT GENERATION.

Period education for today's generation is important as much as any type of education in the world. Menstrual education gives all the teachings to empower period management as a natural process, the main goal is to prioritizing physical and mental health by giving them knowledge about menstrual or period education and how it effects each person life. Everybody thinks that period education is not an important topic to discuss but you don't know how important this topic is, due to lack of knowledge about periods peoples who are experiencing menstrual symptoms were too embarrassed to seek medical help about this as a result it is very hard to normalize discussion about periods. In this case not only girls but boys should also be taught that how these things happens and what our friends and family members are experiencing in daily life. Boys are taught very less about periods and menstruation.There is very less syllabus about period or menstruation in school which cannot give proper amount of education to younger students so that they can understand the topic clearly.Nowadays most schools in organised sectors have sessions where they teach about periods but in case of unorganised sectors schools, they don't have these kinds of
sessions.In schools from the starting period education must be taught by developing a particular subject for the same. Teachers should take this subject regularly in their class as other subjects. School should call professionals to organize seminars and workshops regarding period education to their students.We can spread menstrual health education in rural areas by organizing free camps and can distribute free pamphlets to the villagers. We can also stick posters in different places like streets, int the market and can give advertisement in newspapers and television to increase awareness around peoples.

METHODS TO TEACH PEOPLE ABOUT PERIODS:

• 1. MAKE MENSTRUAL HEALTH EDUCATION MANDATORY IN MDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS:-This is a only way to ensure that each and every student have access to menstrual education in their schools. This can be a long process but it is going to be effective somehow and going to give good results.

• 2. WORK WITH YOUR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION TO IMPLEMENT A COMPREHENSIVE AND MEDICALLY ACCURATE MENSTRUAL HEALTH PROGRAM:-As we have discussed we can organise seminars which will help us to increase awareness about periods and that will bring a new change in period education because children learn easily by seeing thing not just by reading things.

• 3. DO IT YOURSELF:-You can do this by yourself also not like telling others to do this do that, you can go to your local schools and spread awareness because you are the only one who knows your locality better.

• 4. WHEN SHOULD MY CHILD LEARN ABOUT MENSTRUATION:- In primary schools' students should learn about the changes happening in their bodies before they occur as puberty begins at different times it can be difficult to cope up with that. However, from an age of 3-5 one should start learning about the changes that's goanna happens in their body very soon which can sometimes create a lot of problems like puberty, for example someone wasn't aware about the same she can come under the panic stage which can harm her in many ways mentally or physically also.

MENSTRUAL HYGIENE SCHEME(MHS):

This scheme was introduced by The ministry of Health and Family to inculcate period education for the current generation. This scheme was implemented in 2011 in 107 districts in 17 states the main objectives of this scheme was to increase awareness among adolescents' girls on menstrual hygiene.

They produce a range of IEC materials that has been developed around MHS which creates awareness among girls about safe and hygienic menstrual health practices.

•Department of education of England released new guidelines for menstrual health education in the school curriculum. These guidelines mean for inculcating menstrual health education for girls and boys in primary schools. This was considered to be the first step in the health education guidelines since 2000, after reorganization by the government. These new guidelines also deal with important information on female genital mutilation.

CONCLUSION

In the last we conclude that having period education is a basic necessity for a healthy society. Each and every family must have menstrual health education s that their children would not face any problem in the future. There are many methods to inculcate this period education. Government has also introduced some schemes to provoke our society regarding this.Like this many more methods can be used to teach current generation about period education. At last, these are enough points to about period education that can be given to current generation to inculcate current generation about period education.
